Flexible steel hoses are custom-made. Designs cannot be changed and orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

Before planning, consult the distributor and provide relevant information about the tank and its intended application.

Customers must provide detailed tank drawings so the manufacturer can plan the hose routing and determine the hose length according to hose diameter and tank height.

Hose Diameter & Length Planning

H is the tank height. Use consistent length units when calculating. in = inches; ft = feet.

Increasing hose length extends the service life at bending points, but also increases the overall weight.

Purchase hoses through authorized distributors to avoid counterfeit products.

Site Conditions

The tank floor within the hose movement area must be level and free of welding slag or other sharp objects.

Indoor Storage

Store the hose indoors at room temperature. Keep it away from high temperatures, open flames, and sharp objects.

Pressure Test Water

The chloride ion content of water used for pressure testing must not exceed 25 ppm.

Transport & Lifting

Handle and lift the hose carefully, keeping it coiled. Do not subject it to severe impacts, puncture it with sharp objects, or drag the unprotected hose along the ground.

Carry out the necessary inspection and maintenance during tank overhauls. General maintenance includes the following tasks.

Movement Path & Equipment Clearance

Check that the hose operates within its normal movement range and does not interfere with other equipment.

Hose Surface Condition

Inspect the hose surface for leakage, scratches, and wear.

Connections & Corrosion

Replace gaskets and fasteners at flange connections. Inspect lifting lugs and wire ropes for corrosion, and replace any severely corroded components.

Protective Coating for Metal Components

Recoat all metal components with anticorrosion and antirust paint.
